Super Fast Whole Meal Bread
This delicious recipe can be made in a large or small quantity. Either way, you will need:
One pound of organic strong whole meal flour
Additive free salt
Sunflower oil
Sugar
Quick yeast
Small Quantity
1. Warm 3/4 a pint of water. Dissolve 2 teaspoons of quick yeast and 1 teaspoon
of sugar in half of the water.
2. Place one pound of organic strong whole meal flour in a large bowl. Add
the yeast mixture to the flour and mix.
3. Dissolve 1 tablespoon of salt in the remaining warm water. Add this to
the flour bowl.
4. Add in 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil. Mix the dough using a wooden spoon
for four minutes.
5. Grease bread loaf tins and fill each half way with the dough. You can smooth
the top of the dough using a wet pastry brush.
6. Cover and let the dough rise in a warm area for about 20 minutes (until
it is about a 1/2 inch from the top of the tin).
7. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and cook the bread for 30-50 minutes.
To make a larger quantity of bread, use 3 pounds of organic strong whole
meal flour, 3 teaspoons of additive free salt, 3 tablespoons of sunflower
oil, 2 1/4 pints of warm water, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 4 teaspoons of quick
yeast.
